BlackBerry owners can stream Michigan Radio from the mobile device. You just have to download free MP3 streaming client software.
One example is Nobex Radio Companion. The instructions on their site are as follows:
"From the browser on your BlackBerry, go to: http://www.nobexrc.com/download/
"It will download and install Nobex Radio Companion, and that's it!"
Once you have installed an app, you can connect to the Michigan Radio stream here: http://ummedia12.rs.itd.umich.edu:8004
NPR on BlackBerry
NPR Mobile provides easy access to NPR news from your mobile device at this address: http://m.npr.org/. Additionally, you can access Michigan Radio's hourly newscast and news headlines.
When you're at that page, just follow these instructions:
1. Click "Get local news" in the upper right-hand corner
2. Search for "WUOM" (or "Ann Arbor, MI")
3. Click "WUOM - 91.7 FM" on the list of results
4. Click "Add to favorites" on the page that comes up, when you can see the Michigan Radio logo
5. Choose one of the items in the list
