There are as many different dreams as there are people, and every one of them is a unique story of hustle. What do you need to sustain yourself? What do you most desire? What gets you out of bed in the morning? What keeps you up at night? What does hustle mean to you?
Science Gallery Lab Detroit launches in the United States with HUSTLE, a multimedia exhibition of interactive works and experiences that invite you to examine the many definitions of survival and success. Every living thing hustles—not only to survive but to thrive. All forms of hustle involve art, science or a combination of both.
Designed to ignite creativity and inspiration, Science Gallery exhibitions aim to inspire and embolden curious minds. HUSTLE is free and open to the public.
Central to the gallery is “The Hustler’s Lounge,” a space where Detroiters and visitors can sound off, weigh in, and share their own notions of hustle. A public performance series featuring artists, scientists, makers, artisans and hustlers from the community will run throughout the course of the exhibition. Other exhibits on display at HUSTLE tap virtual reality, cryptocurrency, robotics, economics and psychology to showcase other forms of hustle—ranging from biological to technological to economic.
