Think of them as robotic divers... they travel up and down on cables and collect data. (AP) - Authorities rescued three adults and six children from Partridge Island in Lake Superior who had been on the water in a 12-foot boat.</p><p>The U.S. Coast Guard says the boat was &quot;beset by weather&quot; on Wednesday afternoon and they got a call for help via cell phone.</p><p>A crew from Coast Guard Station Marquette and rescuers from the Marquette County sheriff&#39;s department responded. A Coast Guard rescuer swam to the beach and helped the nine onto a sheriff&#39;s<br />department boat, and they were transferred to the Coast Guard boat.</p><p>No injuries were reported. All nine were transported to Coast Guard Station Marquette. At first, he was skeptical.
