- Wayne County Mortgage Foreclosure Prevention Program is a series of free seminars throughout August, offering counseling to help avoid foreclosure. Wayne County MFPP (PDF)

West Michigan
- Home Repair Services is a non-profit organization serving lower-income homeowners throughout Kent County, MI that works with homeowners and lenders to prevent foreclosure whenever possible. http://www.homerepairservices.org/
