Charles Manley
Charles graduated cum laude from Eastern Michigan University in 2009 with a BA in Journalism and a minor in Electronic Media & Film Studies. During his time at Michigan Radio, he will conduct interviews, gather sound, and write stories for the newscasts.

Tara Cavanaugh
Tara is a Masters Degree Student in Journalism at the University of Missouri. She worked at Michigan Radio last summer conducting interviews, gathering sound, and writing stories, and she has returned to assist with some upcoming series over the next few months.

Rodrigo Gaya
Rodrigo Gaya is a 2009 graduate from the University of Michigan and is a photography intern in the Michigan Radio news department. Rodrigo is from Miami, FL, and was the managing photo editor for The Michigan Daily. He speaks Spanish and takes great pictures.

Katherine Martin
Katherine is a senior at the University of Michigan earning a BA in Communication Studies and a minor in Environmental Studies. She enjoys outdoor activities like canoeing and rock climbing, is an avid cook and photographer, and maintains a blog about cooking and baking. Katherine researches story ideas and books interviews for The Environment Report.

Emilia Askari
Emilia Askari is a former prize winning reporter from the Detroit Free Press and co‐ founder of the Society of Environmental Journalists. She’s currently enrolled in the master’s program at the University of Michigan's School of Information. Askari is working with the staff at The Environment Report to improve their audio archiving system.

Erica Krasity
Erica is a junior at the University of Michigan studying business and English. Here at Michigan Radio, she helps put out our e-newsletter, drafts press releases, manages the events calendar, assists with media sponsorships, and does whatever other marketing-related tasks come her way. In her free time, she rides and shows Arabian and half-Arabian horses.

Kelly Moran
Kelly Moran is a senior in the Performing Arts Technology program in the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance at the University of Michigan. Her studies combine a multitude of music and media related activities including composition, piano performance, recording, improvisation, inter‐media art, and dance collaboration.
She has worked as an intern at Michigan Radio since September 2008 and assists with operation and traffic orders, audio editing, and ISDN engineering.
