Donating a vehicle is fast, easy and secure. Michigan Public accepts most any vehicle - running or not - including cars, trucks, RVs, motorcycles....and even boats. We work with our non-profit colleagues at CARS (Charitable Adult Rides & Services) to ensure that your donation delivers the highest possible return and that your experience is simple and convenient. For more information about donating a vehicle, check out our Vehicle Donation FAQ page. Your donation is greatly appreciated!

A classic old car to Michigan Radio

A listener from Jackson recently donated a classic 1941 Plymouth Special Deluxe sedan to Michigan Radio. Touted as the "One For `41" and "America's Low Cost Luxury Car," this car came with Powermatic shifting, an almost heart-shaped grille and a “Fashion-Tone Interior.”

This 1941 Plymouth is the oldest car ever donated to the station’s vehicle donation program. It will start its next act supporting the programs that make Michigan Radio special.

Whether you’ve got a car that was built when FDR was President or something a bit more recent, donating your used car or truck to Michigan Radio helps support the public radio news you rely on and programs you love!
