COVID-19 in Michigan: Tracking cases, deaths, and hospitalizations

Here are the latest COVID-19 cases, deaths, and hospitalizations in Michigan:

As of July 6, 2021, the state of Michigan is updating COVID-19 cases, deaths, and hospitalizations twice per week, on Tuesdays and Fridays.

The first map below shows the number of new cases in each county per 10,000 residents over the past two weeks. This is meant to show the rate at which positive coronavirus cases are increasing in each county. The second map shows the total number of cases per county since the pandemic reached Michigan in early March. Both maps update when the state of Michigan releases the latest numbers, which is currently Tuesdays and Fridays.

For a look at specific county information, hover over each county. Note: maps do not include the number of cases from the Michigan Department of Corrections, the Federal Correctional Institution, or cases categorized as out-of-state or unknown.
