Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump isn't getting a lot of love from politicians in his own party, let alone from Democrats.

But U.S. Rep. Debbie Dingell, D-Michigan, fast gaining a reputation for straight talk herself, had some rare words of praise.

Dingell says she doesn't agree with Trump on many issues, but she does agree with his focus on the threat of foreign currency manipulation to U.S. manufacturing.

"The rest of us can all talk about it until we're blue in the face, and Donald Trump brought immediate attention to it."

And Dingell says Trump's style gets people excited and engaged, and that's good for the democratic process.

"You know what he believes. You know what he thinks.  He doesn't ... bullshit!"

Neither do you, Debbie Dingell.  Neither do you.

Dingell made the comments prior to a fundraiser in Ann Arbor for Democratic presidential candidate Martin O'Malley, former Governor of Maryland. Dingell says she has not endorsed O'Malley.
