The craft beer industry has been booming in Michigan and across the country for some time now. As distribution continues to grow, it's fair to wonder whether craft beer companies are approaching market saturation.
After all, big companies like Anheuser-BuschInBev and Coors Brewing Companystill dominate the market.
But Founders co-founder and CEO MikeStevens is confident that the craft beer movement will only continue to grow more competitive against those big names, thanks to what he describes as a "paradigm shift" in customers' beer tastes:
While many Michiganders take a certain pride in Founders' famous brews, we don't get to keep them for ourselves. According to Stevens, Founders distributes to some 40 states and, thanks to a partnership with Spanish brewer MahouSan Miguel, now reaches 22 countries around the world.
