"It's not good for the industry to see [the electric cars] on the showroom floors and nobody is buying them," Howes said.

 

 

Daniel Howes, Detroit News business columnist, joined Stateside today to talk about what he's calling the "Great Auto Disconnect."

That is to say: the discrepancy between how many electric vehicles are being made, and how many are staying on showroom floors.
