Michigan Radio’s statewide talk show, Stateside, hosted by Cynthia Canty, will travel to Traverse City on Saturday, September 17, 2016, for a special live audience show.
This live show will be held at the InsideOut Gallery, 229 Garland St in downtown Traverse City on Saturday, September 17 from 7:30 -9:00 PM. Audience members will get a behind-the-scenes view of the show as host Cynthia Canty interviews newsmakers and other special guests, and also enjoy entertainment by a live band. Admission is free but space is limited so people should register in advance to attend. You can register for this broadcast here.
Listeners in southern Michigan can also take part in a weekend bus trip to see the live show, which includes roundtrip motorcoach transportation from Ann Arbor, hotel accomodations and priority seats for the live taping. Details of that trip are available here.

Guests on the show include politicians, newsmakers, writers, artists, and cultural influencers of all stripes. Veteran Detroit radio personality and Emmy Award winning news anchor Cynthia Canty hosts the show.
Stateside can be heard Monday-Friday from 3-4 PM (10-11 PM repeat) across all of southern Michigan on Michigan Radio: 91.7 FM in Detroit & Ann Arbor, 104.1 FM in West Michigan; and 91.1 FM in Flint. The show can also be heard Monday-Friday from 3-4 PM on Interlochen Public Radio (91.5 FM, Traverse City; 89.7 FM, Manistee/Ludington; 90.1 FM, Harbor Springs/Petoskey) in Northern Michigan. Stateside normally broadcasts from Michigan Radio’s studios in downtown Ann Arbor. The show has done previous road show broadcasts from Grand Rapids and Detroit.
