Throw back Thursday: Detroit Auto Show

With the North American International Auto Show under way in Detroit, we thought we'd dig up some archival photos of what the auto show used to look like for throw back Thursday. Click on the photo above to see more images of past Detroit Auto Shows. 

The auto show began in Detroit in 1907. The show focused on regional car makers until 1989, when it began to welcome international car companies to participate. It was then renamed the North American International Auto Show, as it is known today. Read more about the history of the NAIAS here
