Mark Brush is The Environment Report's Senior Producer. He oversees the overall editorial direction and day-to-day operations of the weekly environmental news feed along with Senior Editor, Lester Graham. Mark also gets out in the field where he loves to gather voices and sounds that help transport listeners to unique places. He's won several national awards for his environmental reporting and editing. Brush has a Master of Science degree in Environmental Public Policy and Planning from the University of Michigan School of Natural Resources and Environment.
Mark has worked in public radio since 1998. Prior to that he was an admitted public radio junkie. "I get a deeper understanding of an issue when I listen to a good radio report. Radio is personal in a way that no other media is."
