Q&A
What is your favorite part of your job?
Figuring out creative ways to engage with the community. We aren't just a radio station; we're a community resource. I try to give our radio projects a different life.
What is your favorite program on Michigan Radio?
I love Wait Wait Don't Tell Me. It's the news but with a great deal of humor. I actually plan weekend driving around that show so I can be in my car when it's on.
What do you like best about working in public radio?
I feel like there's a real need for the kind of information public radio provides. Being a part of making that information available is one of the best parts of working in the public radio system.
Anything else you would like people to know about you?
I am a recent first time dog owner which has been quite an experience. She's about 6 lbs but thinks she's 120. She's got a big dog personality in a tiny little body.
