The Detroit Science Center, which closed its doors last September, could be given a new life. The Detroit News reports Ann Arbor businessman, Ron Weiser, has agreed to buy the land, the building and its contents from Citizens Bank.
In a complex transaction being refined in advance of a public auction set for July 5, an all-new Michigan Science Center is being created and a prominent Ann Arbor business leader has reached an agreement to purchase the land, building and contents of the center from Citizens Bank, the mortgage holder owed $6.2 million.
