Many urban centers, including Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids and Detroit, are booming, but that’s changing the look and character of these areas and impacting who lives there. New apartments and condos bring new residents and spur economic growth but does it have to be at the expense of affordable housing and lost green spaces?
