Arts and culture reporter Kyle Norris covered the live evolution of Andre Sandifer and Abir Ali's interactive piece, The Last Supper. Around 10,000 people carved messages – from the poignant to the banal – into the surface of Ali and Sandifer's 30-foot walnut table.
And we even happened upon on artwork inspired by Sarah Alvarez's Detroit 1971 busing series. Artist Leslie Bolyard cites the State of Opportunity series on desegregation 40 years later as inspiration for his iron sculpture.
