Many Michigan motorists will start Monday with a dead battery
Many Michigan motorists will find themselves stuck with a dead battery Monday morning.
Frigid overnight temps are expected to leave many a battery ice cold, leaving motorists struggling in vain to get their engines to turn over.
AAA is expecting a lot of calls from Michigan motorists who need to have their car batteries jumped.
AAA spokeswoman Susan Hiltz says people calling for help will need to be patient. She says wait times will vary around the state depending on a variety of factors.
“Wait times fluctuate on a continual basis,” says Hiltz, “(AAA) Members should be aware that priority service will be given to those who are stranded or in a dangerous situation.”
One piece of good news, Monday is President’s Day. So many federal, state and local government employees have the day off. That may mean fewer people needing help with a dead battery.
