Living With Autism Virtual Workshop 2022

Now more than ever, families living with autism need support, inspiration and connection. That's just what you'll find at the virtual Living With Autism Workshop, running 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. EST Oct. 3-5 (Monday-Wednesday). In 2022, Metro Parent and Henry Ford Health's event offers:

Can't miss NEW session with iconic autism advocate Temple Grandin

Professor Temple Grandin is the personification of what someone on the spectrum can accomplish with proper support, dedication and drive. She talks about her experience with autism and offers her insights to audiences around the world. And she's joining us this year to share her newest talk on the importance of early education and intervention. You don't want to miss it!

Keynote address from autism mom Kate Swenson of 'Finding Cooper's Voice' blog

Kate Swenson came to the world of autism like a lot of us – utterly by surprise. When her son Cooper wasn't hitting some key developmental milestones as a baby, she turned to "Dr. Google." Time and again, autism was suggested as the cause. It didn't make sense to her at the time, but it does now. Since then she's been focused on one thing – "Finding Cooper's Voice," and it's that mission that she named her popular blog after. Join us to hear about Kate's journey and what she's learned along the way.

Multiple info-packed sessions over 3 days
