Ayurveda is the Vedic science of healing the body and the mind. Join us for this five week course to dive into and begin to understand your innate power to heal and balance your whole being. Explore + learn basic methods of healing including herbs and diet, exercise, mindfulness and how simple lifestyle adjustments can have a big impact on how you think and feel, ultimately allowing you to move more intelligently and balanced through life. We recommend diving in for the whole course, however, each one of these sessions is stand alone and will help you find more harmony on your life path. Between monthly sessions you will be given accessible and inspiring "assignments" (think journaling, self-assessment questionnaires, mindfulness, home practices, etc.) to reinforce and gain practical experience with what you learned. Beccy Stevenson, RN, E-RYT, AHC Beccy is an Ayurvedic health counselor, yoga instructor and registered nurse. She has practiced nursing for over 15 years and working in a variety of settings from the ICU to hospice and home care. Having direct experience with the futility of western medicine and seeking an alternate form of exercise, she found yoga. It was here that the pieces finally started to come together. Yoga and Ayurveda (discovered through deeper yogic study) made sense and better yet, proved to be the missing link to empower people to take better care of themselves. We all have that ability, sometimes it is just buried under layers of conditioning or trauma. Beccy has completed over 600 hours in Ayurvedic study and is passionate about sharing what she knows to help people find their own potential by connecting to their innate wisdom and most authentic self. 3ICE is a brand new, six-team, independent, three-on-three, professional hockey league in North America and they are bringing their nine-stop 2022 Tour to Van Andel Arena on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 3:00PM. All six 3ICE teams will travel to each tour-stop and compete in a tournament where each game will consist of two, eight-minute periods using a running clock on a full-sized rink.Each team has seven players (including one goalie) and competes in a nine-week season that will feature six games each night. The bracket-style single-elimination format will include three first round games, two semifinal matchups, followed by a title game. Host cities include Denver, Grand Rapids, Hershey, Las Vegas, Nashville, Pittsburgh, as well as Canadian cities London, Ontario and Québec City. Ticket prices are subject to change. Stephen Agyei is a Stand-Up Comedian, Actor and writer who hails from Denver, CO. Noted for having the whitest teeth in Denver, he became one of the city’s most sought-after comedians. Shining brightly with his mischievous smile, the Comedy Works regular was the winner of the 2012 Comedy Works’ Clean Comedy Contest, and 3-time finalist in the venue’s New Faces contest; With a style described as “calculated fearlessness.”
The LA-based comedian has been featured on Just For Laughs Digital, Viceland’s Flophouse and NPR’s “All Things Considered” with Roy Wood Jr. His voice will also be heard on Season 6 of Bojack Horseman, on Netflix.
Agyei has performed at many festivals including Bridgetown Comedy Festival, High Plains Comedy Festival, Limestone, Great American, Laughing Devil, Westside Comedy Festival and many more. Stephen has also toured internationally in South Korea and was hand-picked by Duncan Trussell to open for his most recent “I am God” tour.
