Pechulano Ngwe Ali

Pechulano Ali is a production assistant on Stateside. He recently graduated from MSU with a master’s degree in journalism. He moved to East Lansing in 2015 from his country, Cameroon, where he worked as a host and producer for local radio stations and as a freelance reporter for a Norwegian newspaper.

In the fall Pechulano is headed to Penn State University for a Ph.D. in Mass Communications. He’s having a robust experience in an American newsroom as he juggles researching stories, booking interviews and writing web posts for Stateside. He sings Christian acapella music, and his smile is his biggest asset.
