Data equality on the internet might bring unintended consequences

When a federal court of appeals upheld net neutrality, a lot of people applauded. Equal access to the internet for everyone seems right.


Well, there are some concerns. Not all internet use is the same.

Harsha Madhyastha said as much in an essay for The Conversation. He joined us today to talk about net neutrality and some of the issues that could pop up thanks to current policy. 


Harsha Madhyastha is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science and Engineering Division at the University of Michigan.
