The former New York City mayor is opening his Michigan campaign headquarters near Eastern Market. Bloomberg launched his campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination less than a month ago. Many of the other candidates have been actively running for the party’s nomination for a year. But Bloomberg is looking to level the playing field by spending $100 million of his own money on advertising.
