The Michigan Economic Development Corporation plans to distribute $10 million in grants and $10 million in low-interest loans to businesses across the state.
Oakland County is providing a $3 million stabilization fund for small businesses.
County Board Chairman Dave Woodward says Oakland County wants to provide some relief to small business.
“Do whatever it takes to provide the immediate relief short-term….so that we can we can get through this together that much easier,” says Woodward.
It’s estimated more than one hundred thousand Michigan businesses have been directly affected by the governor’s Stay Home order.
