When you or someone in your family feels sick, chances are the first call you make is to your primary care physician.
Ever since 2010, Michigan has been a big part of a demonstration project to make primary care better, to keep people healthier and out of hospitals.
It’s called the Michigan Primary Care Transformation Project.
MiPCT Project Manager Diane Marriott, and Natalie Adewunmi, a registered nurse and care manager with Integrated Health Associates, joined us today to take a look at how healthcare in Michigan has changed since the project launched.
Diane Marriott is project manager of the Michigan Primary Care Transformation Project.
Natalie Adewunmi is a care manager with Integrated Health Associates in Ann Arbor.
