As summer winds down, a look back at a "strong" season for Michigan tourism

Kids across Michigan got packed off to school today, which marks the end of the summer tourism season.

As we start to say goodbye to summer, we wondered how Michigan's travel industry fared this year.

Michelle Grinnell with Travel Michigan joined Stateside to give us all the answers. Grinnell said Michigan had a very "strong" summer, thanks to great weather and low gas prices.
