Michigan Representatives Steve Marino and Jeff Yaroch have begun the process of impeaching Macomb Township Trustee Dino Bucci because of his absence from his duties for the past nine months.

Bucci was indicted by a federal grand jury in 2017 on 18 counts of conspiracy, bribery, embezzlement, extortion, mail fraud, and money laundering. Those charges were in connection with public contracts for Macomb Township and the Macomb County Department of Public Works.
