Inside the Snyder administration

Governor Rick Snyder has been appointing directors for various state departments over the past few weeks.  The announcement of Supreme Court Justice Maura Corrigan to the state Department of Human Services came just yesterday.

• Energy, Labor & Economic Growth: Andy Levin (Acting Director)

• Human Services: Maura Corrigan
• Lottery: M. Scott Bowen (Acting Director)
• Military and Veterans Affairs: Major General Gregory Vadnais
• Natural Resources: Rodney Stokes
• Office of the Great Lakes: Patricia Birkholz

Note: State Superintendent Michael Flanagan is appointed by the State Board of Education and Civil Rights Director Daniel Krichbaum is appointed by the Michigan Civil Rights Commission.
